Per un migliore sistema sanitario in Tunisia
L’Italia è una delle destinazioni principali d’immigrazione tunisina dalla fine degli anni ’70, vista la vicinanza geografica e culturale tra i due Paesi. Proprio per questo è sempre più urgente rinforzare i rapporti con questo Paese e facilitare l’incontro tra le istituzioni statali, le ONG italiane e i membri della comunità tunisina in Italia. Il progetto COSPE si rivolge a studenti e medici tunisini, in particolare quelli legati al settore della salute materna e infantile, così come ai giovani e alle donne della comunità tunisina in Italia, con l’obiettivo di arginare le diffuse infezioni di Epatite B e migliorare il sistema sanitario che risulta ancora molto inefficiente: nella regione di Kasserine c’è un solo medico ogni 3.226 abitanti e un letto d’ospedale ogni 1000 abitanti. Per questo COSPE ha deciso di intervenire, attraverso l’educazione, sui problemi di salute delle madri e dei bambini.
Con il tuo contributo puoi sostenere le tante attività del progetto, come l’organizzazione di tre workshop sull’educazione alla cittadinanza partecipativa legata ai servizi socio-sanitari pubblici e la formazione di studenti e professori tunisini in Toscana; o l’organizzazione di giornate di sensibilizzazione e informazione parallelamente in Tunisia e in Toscana sui diritti alla sanità per le donne.
