A concrete aid for the European Gaza Hospital in Palestine
The Gaza Strip, after the latest Israeli attack in July 2014, is facing a situation of actualhumanitarian crisis, with over 2100 civilians killed, 500 of which were children, wrecked buildings, and water supply and sewerage systems almost completely destroyed. The operation implemented by the Tel Aviv Government not only affected military targets and structures, but also many civilian facilities, including the European Gaza Hospital, situated in the Province of Khan Yunis, about 30 km south of Gaza City.
COSPE is in the front line for the rehabilitation and restoration of this important hospital, aiming to give back to the Palestinian population a first class health centre, fundamental for the care of over 60,000 people and essential to assure a decorous shelter to the many wounded.
With your precious contribution you will provide children and all the other patients of the hospital with a crucial aid, financing the restoration of some hospital wards and the purchase of new medical equipment, among which a machine to wash surgical instruments. Moreover, your donation will be indispensable to ensure that healthcare personnel is sent from Italy tooperate on at least 10 children with heart diseases and train doctors and nurses in the hospital.
